2008 - Rubber

This exhibition invited artists to create works using at least 60% rubber in their pieces. Pieces could be wearable or small objects and inspiration for the creation of these pieces came from the materials being used. Rubber was one of a series of themed exhibitions designed to break the restrictions metal has on an artist. They are non-selling exhibitions so they do not restrict the artist to create pieces based on commercial benefit, therefore opening their minds to the creativity of the subject.

Exhibiting Artists: Christine O'Reilly, Clare Poppi, Dan Cox, Elizabeth Shaw, Joan Teo, Kylie Gartside, Leigh Wagner, Margot Douglas,  Miriam Carter,  Renata Fojtikova, Sharka Bosakova, Susie Woodhouse and Vanessa Williams.
