2014 - Wild Waters
Wild Waters an exhibition of JMGQ members' work that reflects upon and draw inspiration from the many aspects of our relationships to the wild waters of our environment. From freshwater riparian zones to the saltwater bays, reefs and open oceans, the theme offers plenty of room for interpretation, whether celebrating the natural beauty and diversity of aquatic environments or critical interpretations of human impacts on fragile ecosystems such as the Great Barrier Reef and inland underground aquifers. The symbology of water also offers scope for investigations into our hidden (underwater) emotional realms.
